Well, here we are once again, jamming through another nice, hot, NEPA summer. The air of positivity, progress and change flood the air of our music studio. I am happy to report the aquisition of some fine new pieces of gear. We now have an acrylic acoustic shield around our acoustic drum kit. Thanks to the Brothers Cucura for letting us borrow that. Peace Paul. Peace Kevin. We have aquired 5 new basses and 5 new guitars for 09. I would like to thank the most holy Monsignier Tony from St. Anthony's Parrish in Dunmore Pa. for giving me his personal audio gear. May his soul rest in peace. That gear has some serious karma. I was happy to get out and play a killer gig last week with two of my friends Jay Luke (The Mess, Sorrowsun) and Joey "Reverend Jasper" Paciotti (Drift Miles, The Get Downs) . The Jam was a success and our hosts Ed and Terry knew how to throw a party that is going to go down in my book as one of the greatest ever. Their mansion on their lake was an easy place to pull off a rock gig. The place was packed. My belly was jammed with some serious gourmet, and the booze.....and the booze! It is a time of change in the music studio. Some of our venerable personel have vanished, and in thier wake, some old friends have surfaced stronger than ever. To those disgruntled characters, I hope you find what your lookin for. I kinda get pissed off at the disgruntled. I wish I had a studio to go to where everything was on the house. EVERYTHING. You would think some appreciation would be in line.....To the musicians of the army of the willing, I hope one day we find that place in music that is the Grail. That place were your eyes turn off and your ears take your imagination on the journey to forever! I wish to congradulate Cris Malvizzi, a young artist who I have worked with, who has been doing some serious touring with The Life To Come. Chris is a fine, young Guitarist who may just go all the way with Rock and Roll. Chris was fun in the studio and I hope to see him again in the sacred music realm. Witchcraft Panty and Foggy Water Groove Guitarist, Eric Harvey is on a nice wave of energy with a Band called Hitchin Crickett. They have been touring and soundin real good may I add. Eric has been playing lap steel and kickin butt! I am so very grateful that during these tough financial times here in America, that the almighty lets our Studio. that has no budget to work with, flourish, and continue to host the local music experiment, here in Scranton, Pa. I love sound, I love my friends, even the disgruntled, I love the progressive nature of music. I hope someday this thing called music is my career.
