The Stones of Atlantis perform an acoustic set at The Irish Wolf Pub, Scranton PA.

The current news in the studio. I don't know if we are gonna churn out any top forty anytime soon, but, if I could sum up the 2011, I must say we never had less drama in our studios existance. We have mutated into an army of the willing, meaning these are the guys that want to be there. The guys who don't expect, the guys who don't gripe, the guys with no baggage, and our sound is developing at a sincere and serious level. In our current vibe we have a spirit of joy for music, rather than that constant assault of the street musician, pushin his or her disc. We totally re-engineered our spaces in our shop for optimum capacity of artists and gear. At last check there was over 62 speakers in our current configuration powered by 4350 watts of amplification. We also got a new coat of paint in the lounge. The beer system has been revamped, and our stools re-upholstered in white canvas. So grateful to be a part of the experiment are the players. The vibe is "ON." Jay Luke has been gettin some of our artists out to his open mic, which truely has become a phun place to make some phun stuff happen, that gig is on Wednesdays every other week or so, downtown, at The Irish Wolf Pub. The current lineup out and about includes Jay Luke of The Mess, Joe "Jasper" Paciotti, Ed Kucha and me, Mark Z rounding out "The Stones of Atlantis". We can be found on the first Friday of every month at Jersey Subs art gallery in Scranton, PA. Bonestar music wishes to congratulate Sean Angerson of Neverwhen, for a successful run of shows this summer past. He along with Bonestar Music notables Dave Zaus and Jon Molitoris put together a solid lineup that sure looks like they had some phun touring around our Valley cities. Dave, Jon,Sean, and I have had various musical collaborations over the years and I am so happy to say I have been seeing those boys a little bit more as of late. I am proud to announce that over this past weekend I had the priveledge to meet a rock Icon of mine, Steve Conte of The New York Dolls. He along with Glam God, Michael Monroe, spend time after a show in Philly, sharin the love with Luke, Mike McHale (Music Ghuru), and myself. I want to thank the band for a show I'll never forget. We have a new rack of amps being shipped in for the winter session, just incase we need some more watts...LOL! Sean Angerson is going to be operating a satelite studio this winter also. So the jam scene is alive and well! Lets ROCK!
