The Bonestar Music mission is simple. We wish to unite the fraternity of musicians on the local scene for no other reason
than for phun and experimentation in the progressive arts of sound. One night may be simply a discussion on volts and watts.
One night may just be a drink and a smoke. One day may be a full-blown jamband. One night we may be recording an up and coming
young band.....but rest assured we are a progressive scene in Scranton, Pa. Though we accept grants and gear sponsership,
we try to remain in the framework of a non-profit bohemian community. This has always worked for us. At least for the first
decade of our organizations life. To simply embrace art and technology, instead of "Chasing a recording industry dream", is
the attitude that prevails amongst our artists. We are phriends, we are phamily. While many of our aquaintences are out night
after night doin blow and fucking hookers after they play a show at a shithole bar, we hold our ground, hoping and anticipating,
a better day in the magikal quest for the "Sonic Frontier". Every man likes loose chicks and his vice. We are reaching for
a higher order.
